How it operates:

Motion-activated cameras are pivotal tools for monitoring animal populations and movements, aiding in the development of conservation strategies. When an animal triggers one of our Instant Wild cameras, a photo is captured and promptly transmitted to the app for user identification in real time. Analyzing numerous images requires time, but with user support, we can identify additional species and contribute to their protection.

No specialized knowledge or qualifications are needed to participate; extensive guidance ensures accurate identifications. Simply register and start tagging animals in the images provided.

Your involvement not only supports conservation efforts, integrating you into the ZSL community, but also offers a glimpse into some of the planet's most untamed regions.

Instant Wild is an initiative by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). Established in 1826, ZSL is a global conservation charity dedicated to preserving wildlife and their habitats.
